Robert A. Iussa - Registered U.S. Patent Attorney
Robert Iussa is a Registered US Patent Attorney licensed to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office, and is a member of the Arizona State Bar. Robert has practiced law in the area of Intellectual Property for more than 12 years focusing on Patent Preparation and Prosecution; Trademark preparation and prosecution; general IP counseling; IP portfolio development; IP licensing; IP enforcement; dispute resolution; due diligence as well as various other IP related matters.
Before establishing his own practice in 2008, Robert practiced at Large Regional and International Law Firms.
Robert earned his engineering degree from Arizona State University and began his career at Allied Signal Aerospace, now Honeywell. He worked in the military customer support aftermarket division redesigning systems for military applications.
From there, Robert’s career path led him to Timken Steel and Bearings in Canton Ohio, where he advanced from Failure Analysis Specialist to Process Improvement Engineer to Manager of Steel Production in the steel refining operation at one of the two company steel mills. Timken invested in his advanced education at the local Akron University Law School, where he earned his JD while still acting as Full time Manager at Timken. Upon graduation, Robert returned to Arizona where he began his law career at Snell & Wilmer.
Robert also teaches IP seminar courses at the local Arizona Summit Law school; provides several hours of pro-bono work each year; writes IP related articles and sits on the advisory board for two local start-up tech companies. Robert also participates in workshops for and counsels regarding SBIR/STTR and Data Rights.
